Space efficiency through vertical city

Berlin is a vertical city with efficient land utilisation. The use of space is reduced by constructing new high-rise buildings and adding storeys to existing buildings. High-rise buildings are provided with green spaces, terraces and roof parks, thus contributing to a green cityscape. The high-rise buildings are arranged in clusters and ideally connected to transport hubs.
